You are cordially invited to a charity concert raising funds for Burmese refugees on Sunday 24 May, starting at 5pm at Mojo's in North Fremantle, Western Australia.
The event promises to be a fun afternoon/evening for a good cause, with three acoustic acts and a band to finish off. The funds raised will assist the work of the Jesuit Refugee Service (JRS) supporting Shan Refugees who have been forced across the border from Burma to Piang Luang Refugee Camp in Thailand due to continued internal conflict. The funds will help support several of the programmes in the camp, including providing vital medicines and fuel for a school bus/truck.
